Deputy PM suggests restraining fertilizer prices till May 31, 2023

MOSCOW, Jun 6 (PRIME) -- The measures to restrain Russia’s prices for mineral fertilizers have proved effective so should be prolonged until May 31, 2023, the office of Deputy Prime Minister Viktoria Abramchenko said in a statement on Monday.

In December 2021, the government approved quotas on exports of nitrogen fertilizers beyond the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and banned exports of ammonia nitrate in February 2022.
